Le Mumba in the news
Recently an article about Résidence le Mumba in Canet has been published in a magazine for French architecture. As you certainly know Le Mumba is developped and sold by Pierce & Elliott!
Fall 2005 we started the construction and in January 2007 the complex was ready. The French architects are Yanninck Alba and Corinne Nifault.
The following description has been placed in the article:
"Beautifully equipped apartments at the seaside in Canet en Roussillon. This project is situated at the corner of the Avenue du Roussillon and the Cote Vermeille, avenue and promenade along the sea.. The building marks strongly the important corner of the street, between an existing building of 7 floors at one side and a small hotel with 2 floors at the other side.
In this building of 6 floors, garages are located on ground floor and the surface of the apartments vary between 70 and 110 m².
The very modern architecture of this building, sober and very accessible at the seaside, melts his volume with the nature and the colour of the materials chosen in the façade.
Stainless steel for the balconies, wood and glazing for the façade with white as dominating colour."
