Tourist base
Quillan is the ideal base for both summer and winter holidays. The nearest ski areas are just a half hour away, and you are also only an hour’s drive from the Mediterranean beaches. There is plenty to discover in the immediate vicinity, on foot or by car, such as the impressive and rugged landscape of woods, gorges and steep rocky slopes. Not far from Quillan is the town of Limoux, which is world famous for the sparkling white wine, Blanquette de Limoux, produced there. Quillan is also easily accessible from the airports of Carcassonne, Toulouse and Gerona just 1-2 hours away.
